Senior Software QA Engineer

About the role

At CoMind you will help build a platform that transforms raw neuro‑signals into longitudinal patient insights, defining a new standard of care in neuro‑critical settings. As a Senior Software QA Engineer on the CoVision project you will co‑responsible for the safety and effectiveness of our medical devices through comprehensive verification and validation processes across the full software development life‑cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Build workflows that map verification evidence to regulatory standards and generate that evidence automatically (Compliance‑as‑Code).
• Own comprehensive test plans, protocols and execution reports for medical device software (Testing Strategy).
• Drive formal software verification and validation, ensuring adherence to IEC 62304 (Class C) and ISO 14971 (V&V Leadership).
• Advance test automation, CI/CD pipelines and new testing techniques, including LLM‑assisted quality gates (Process Automation).
• Collaborate with systems engineers to test multitasking systems and signal‑processing applications on real hardware (Hardware Integration).

Required profile

• 5+ years of software testing experience, preferably on complex or safety‑critical systems.
• Proven experience in highly regulated industries, ideally medical device development.
• Strong hands‑on background with CI/CD, test automation and build systems.
• Experience applying Test‑Driven Development (TDD) and Behaviour‑Driven Development (BDD) methodologies.
