Senior Solutions Engineer – Europe

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Solutions Engineer to join our Sales Engineering team. You will partner with Account Executives to qualify, progress, and close revenue opportunities with Fortune 500 prospects, guiding them through demos, architecture discussions, and proofs‑of‑concept that showcase Coder’s value for both human developers and AI coding agents.

Key responsibilities

• Own the technical relationship with prospects throughout pre‑sales, delivering demos from developer, administrator, and AI‑agent perspectives.
• Install Coder on cloud and on‑prem Kubernetes or VM infrastructure and run proofs‑of‑concept that demonstrate value for agentic and LLM‑powered development workflows.
• Become a subject‑matter expert on Cloud Development Environments, agentic AI development, and their business impact.
• Provide feedback to Engineering and Product, track issues via Linear, and contribute documentation pull requests.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Solutions Engineer selling infrastructure or developer tooling.
• Strong customer‑facing skills that earn trust with technical stakeholders.
• Ability to translate technical hurdles into real‑time business value.
• Experience with high‑growth startups or large software vendors is a plus.

Required skills

• Deep Linux fundamentals and command‑line proficiency.
• Hands‑on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (3+ years).
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure.
• Infrastructure‑as‑code tooling such as Terraform (3+ years).
• Networking knowledge: ingress controllers, proxies, load balancers.
• AI tooling experience (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) and LLM infrastructure (e.g., LiteLLM).
