About the role

Wagamama is looking for a passionate Senior Sous Chef to join its fast‑paced, fresh‑food kitchens. You will lead the pass, inspire the team and help shape a vibrant kitchen culture where real food is prepared without shortcuts.

Key responsibilities

• Run the pass and ensure consistent food quality during service.
• Lead, mentor and develop kitchen staff, creating a safe and proud work environment.
• Jump into prep, solve problems on the floor and keep service flowing smoothly.
• Apply a Kaizen mindset by spotting small improvements and implementing them.
• Maintain high kitchen standards, energy, and flavour focus.

Required profile

• Current kitchen manager or senior sous chef seeking the next step.
• Thrives in a fresh‑food, high‑energy service environment.
• Committed to food quality, team wellbeing and a safe workspace.
• Aspired to progress into a head‑chef role.
• Believes kitchens should be energetic, passionate and connected.
