Senior Staff Nurse – Radiology (London)

About the role

The Lister Hospital, rated "Outstanding" by the CQC, is seeking a Senior Staff Nurse to join its Imaging department. Working across multiple modalities and sites, you will deliver high‑quality, patient‑focused nursing care in a fast‑paced radiology environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care across all imaging modalities, including CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Breast Imaging and Interventional Radiology.
• Assist with one‑stop breast clinics, imaging‑guided drainages, biopsies and therapeutic procedures.
• Support radiographers and booking clerks in arranging urgent appointments.
• Share clinical knowledge through formal CPD sessions and informal teaching.
• Maintain safeguarding compliance for vulnerable adults and children.
• Collaborate with consultants, radiographers, medical and administrative staff across The Lister campus and partner sites.

Required profile

• Current UK NMC registration meeting PREP requirements.
• BSc (or equivalent) in Nursing.
• Significant experience in imaging and interventional radiology nursing.
• Commitment to ongoing CPD and protocol development in radiology.
• Portfolio of relevant CPD; postgraduate qualification is desirable.
• Experience with paediatric patients is an advantage.
