Senior Supply Chain Manager

About the role

ZeroAvia is looking for a Senior Supply Chain Manager to build and mature a greenfield supply chain for its first commercial zero‑emission powertrain products. Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer, you will lead a cross‑functional team and work closely with engineering, program management, and quality to ensure supplier readiness, cost control, and on‑time delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the supply chain team (procurement, contracts, materials) including appraisals, 1:1s, and development plans.
• Develop and maintain internal supply chain processes aligned with regulations and IBMS compliance.
• Manage the Materials function – goods receipt, stores, inventory, kitting, and dispatch.
• Collaborate with engineering early in design to incorporate supplier feedback.
• Draft, negotiate and manage supplier contracts and long‑term agreements.
• Drive supplier onboarding with Quality and Engineering, and monitor supplier KPIs.
• Use NetSuite for vendor management, purchase orders, receiving, and inventory control.
• Coordinate APQP and PPAP deliverables as needed.
• Ensure safety, quality, cost‑of‑goods‑sold reduction, and delivery targets are met.

Required profile

• Degree or certificate in Aviation Technology, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years supply‑chain experience, including at least 2 years managing a team.
• Proven stakeholder‑management and negotiation skills within the aerospace industry.
• Strong reporting and presentation abilities.
• Proficiency with IT systems and data‑driven decision making.
