Senior Support Worker – Adult Autism & Learning Disabilities

About the role

Cygnet Group is seeking a confident and compassionate Senior Support Worker to join its Nightingale residential service. You will help adults with autism and learning disabilities lead fulfilling lives, promoting independence, well‑being and community integration.

Key responsibilities

• Support both management and team members in the day‑to‑day running of the service.
• Allocate duties effectively and safely across a 7‑day rota.
• Provide enhanced, person‑centred care with a flexible learning approach.
• Offer physical and emotional guidance and encouragement to residents.
• Assist with medical and welfare needs and ensure accurate reporting.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and uphold safeguarding standards.

Required profile

• Genuinely driven with a desire to make a positive difference.
• Experience working with adults who have autism, learning disabilities and challenging behaviours.
• Ability to lead by example and support colleagues.
• Commitment to promoting independence and community integration.
