Senior Support Worker – Mental Health Service

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate and resilient Senior Support Worker to join our Mental Health Service based in Richmond, supporting adults with complex needs. The role does not require personal care experience – the right values and a commitment to recovery‑focused support are essential.

Key responsibilities

• Work proactively with the team to manage the service caseload and meet each customer's identified needs.
• Motivate staff and champion a positive, stable culture within the service.
• Provide flexible, proactive support and act as the lead point of contact for key partner agencies when required.
• Co‑produce daily‑living support plans alongside customers and partners, enhancing recovery capital.
• Contribute to a supportive service environment that promotes stability and positive outcomes for service users.

Required profile

• Demonstrates compassion, resilience and alignment with Look Ahead’s values.
• Enjoys social interaction and working as part of a team.
• Legally eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship.
• Willingness to engage in continuous learning and professional development.
