Senior Support Worker – North Petherton

About the role

Voyage Care is seeking a Senior Support Worker to lead its residential service in North Petherton. You will help service users gain independence while supporting day‑to‑day operations and the management team.

Key responsibilities

• Assist service users with daily activities to promote independence.
• Support the Service Manager with supervision, shift allocation and staff induction.
• Organise training, manage medication ordering and oversee financial support for service users.
• Maintain records, ensure compliance with health and safety standards, and contribute to team development.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Senior Support Worker.
• Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care.
• Experience working with individuals requiring enhanced support, including mental health conditions, autism, acquired brain injury, forensic histories, and trauma.
