Senior Systems Developer - Housing

About the role

Our client, a leading organisation undergoing a major digital transformation, is looking for a Senior Systems Developer to drive the design, development and modernisation of critical housing, repairs and property‑management applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain and support enterprise applications and system integrations.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical and business‑critical issues.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation and system designs.
• Mentor a small team of three developers.
• Contribute to project delivery using Agile, Scrum, Waterfall or DevOps methodologies.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience across the full software development lifecycle.
• Strong problem‑solving and debugging abilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Leadership or mentoring experience is highly advantageous.
• Familiarity with NEC or similarly complex operational environments is desirable.
