Senior Tax Manager – Investment Banking – Hybrid – London

About the role

This senior‑level position sits within the tax function of a leading European investment bank in London. Reporting to senior tax leadership, you will act as a key advisor on corporate and international tax matters, supporting high‑value transactions and strategic initiatives across the bank.

Key responsibilities

• Provide corporate tax advisory support on transactions and business initiatives.
• Lead international tax matters, with a focus on transfer pricing.
• Interpret and apply double tax treaties, BEPS, Pillar II and AEOI frameworks.
• Support and review Bank Levy calculations.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Legal and Compliance to translate complex tax issues into actionable insights.
• Contribute to tax risk management and governance.

Required profile

• CTA and/or ACA qualified.
• Extensive UK corporate tax experience within a banking environment.
• Strong understanding of financial products and their tax implications.
• Proven experience in international tax and transfer pricing.
• Background in a major accounting firm or in‑house banking tax function.
