Senior Technical Designer

About the role

As a Senior Technical Designer at 10:10 Games you will design, prototype and implement interactive gameplay systems and mechanics using the latest Unreal Engine 5 technology. You will work within a multi‑skilled Technical Design team alongside artists and designers, and collaborate closely with Design and Engineering to ensure systems meet specifications and performance goals.

Key responsibilities

• Design, prototype and implement gameplay systems and mechanics in UE5.
• Collaborate with Design and Engineering to align systems with design specifications and C++ best practices.
• Mentor and guide junior technical designers, fostering technical expertise across disciplines.
• Ensure interactive assets are both functionally robust and visually outstanding.
• Optimize systems for performance using UE5 profiling tools.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Senior Technical Designer on at least one shipped Unreal Engine project.
• Strong cross‑team communication and collaboration skills.
• Solid understanding of keyframe animation fundamentals and confidence with animating and rigging in UE5, Maya or Blender.
• Experience mentoring and guiding team members.
• Detail‑oriented with a strong eye for composition and an interest in art.
