Senior Technical Engineer – Civil/Structural

About the role

This senior technical engineer position supports an established manufacturer of specialist construction products. You will work with civil and structural engineering projects, providing technical advice and contributing to product development.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support for specialist construction products such as masonry support systems, wall ties and cavity trays.
• Review construction drawings and produce structural calculations to Eurocode standards.
• Respond to technical queries, support bid preparation and liaise with clients.
• Assist with testing, new product launches and ongoing product development.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to develop technical solutions.

Required profile

• Civil or Structural Engineering degree.
• Experience in the construction industry, including producing Eurocode calculations.
• Knowledge of steel, masonry support or precast design is advantageous.

Required skills

• Eurocode structural calculations.
• AutoCAD.
• SolidWorks (advantageous).
