Senior Town Planner

About the role
We are seeking a Senior Town Planner to join a fast‑growing independent planning consultancy based in Milton Keynes. The successful candidate will work on a diverse portfolio of projects across England and Wales, ranging from residential and commercial schemes to mixed‑use and retail developments.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and submit planning applications
- Manage planning appeals and negotiate outcomes
- Interpret and apply planning obligations
- Coordinate building consent applications
- Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers and local authorities
Required profile
- MSc in Town Planning or a closely related discipline
- Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI)
- Experience in both private consultancy and public sector planning
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
