Senior Town Planner – Leeds (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Town Planner to join our Leeds office, offering hybrid working and a competitive salary. You will lead planning projects from inception to completion and provide strategic advice to a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a broad portfolio of planning applications and appeals.
• Prepare planning appraisals, statements and supporting documentation.
• Advise clients on planning strategy and development opportunities.
• Liaise with local authorities, consultants and stakeholders.
• Support junior team members and contribute to business development.
• Attend client meetings, committee meetings and public consultations as required.

Required profile

• MRTPI qualified or working towards chartership.
• Experience in a consultancy or local authority environment.
• Strong knowledge of the UK planning system.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Commercial awareness and client‑facing experience.
