Senior Transport Credit Risk Analyst – Residual Value

About the role

Join Lloyds Banking Group’s Transport Credit team as a Senior Analyst focused on residual value risk. You will work in a hybrid model, spending at least two days a week in the office, and help shape the bank’s strategy for sustainable growth and its net‑zero ambition.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse internal and external data to produce high‑quality insights on transport credit risk.
• Support the development and monitoring of the Electric Vehicle (EV) strategy and related carbon‑emission targets.
• Oversee residual‑value setting, analysing large data sets across vehicle types, terms and mileage.
• Manage risk policy uploads, identify issues, and present changes to stakeholders.
• Provide regular portfolio updates and monitor changes in risk exposure.
• Collaborate with technical and non‑technical partners, presenting findings tailored to the audience.
• Mentor junior analysts and promote best practices within the team.

Required profile

• Proven experience in credit risk analysis, preferably within transport or automotive finance.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting insights to diverse audiences.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a hybrid team.
• Commitment to supporting the bank’s sustainability and net‑zero objectives.
