Senior Utility Surveyor

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Utility Surveyor to join our Subsurface Engineering team in the Midlands. You will work on high‑profile infrastructure projects, applying the latest geospatial technologies to deliver accurate underground surveys.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct utility surveys using EML and Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) equipment.
• Attend site visits and client meetings, supporting the tendering stage of larger projects.
• Handle, process, and interpret geospatial data within the sub‑surface environment.

Required profile

• QCF3/QCF5 certification (highly desirable but not mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of GPR and underground surveying principles.
• Proficiency with EML and GPR equipment.
• Understanding of PAS128 standards.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and capable of producing technical drawings.
• Ability to read and analyse asset owner record drawings.
• Good written English and the right to work in the UK.
• Full clean manual driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide.
