Senior VAT Manager – Big4 Practice

About the role

We are seeking a Senior VAT Manager to join a leading Large Corporate UK & International Indirect Tax practice. The role involves advising high‑profile corporate and multinational clients on complex UK and EU VAT matters while working within a collaborative, forward‑thinking team.

Key responsibilities

• Advise large corporate and international clients on UK and EU VAT issues.
• Manage client relationships and deliver high‑quality advisory services.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative tax solutions.
• Stay up‑to‑date with VAT legislation and technical developments.
• Coach and develop junior team members, leveraging market‑leading tax technology.

Required profile

• Strong experience in UK and/or EU VAT.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships alongside technical delivery.
• Experience gained in a Big‑4 or large practice preferred; strong industry candidates also considered.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Enthusiastic, collaborative and motivated to progress an indirect tax career.

Required skills

• Strong UK and EU VAT knowledge.
