Senior Vehicle Technician – Fleet Maintenance

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Vehicle Technician to join a family‑run fleet operation in Croydon. Working in a modern, well‑equipped workshop, you will lead a team of technicians while delivering high‑quality maintenance for light commercial vehicles.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair light commercial vehicles, including clutch, cambelt and suspension systems.
• Assist colleagues with complex mechanical tasks and provide technical guidance.
• Liaise with clients and internal departments to ensure timely and satisfactory service.
• Maintain workshop safety standards and ensure compliance with health‑and‑safety regulations.
• Manage workflow and productivity using advanced diagnostic equipment such as Snap‑on and Autel tools.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior motor‑vehicle technician or equivalent.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills on light commercial vehicles.
• Excellent communication and a solutions‑driven attitude.
• Familiarity with modern diagnostic equipment and workshop management systems.
• Relevant qualifications such as Senior Vehicle Technician or Master Vehicle Technician.

What we offer

• Basic salary £45,000–£57,000 per year with uncapped bonus potential.
• Flexible start times between 7 am and 9 am and finish between 4 pm and 6 pm.
