Sensory Manager – 24‑month Fixed‑Term

About the role

The Sensory Manager will lead a specialist sensory team and provide expert tasting insight across research, development, marketing and commercial functions. This 24‑month fixed‑term role is central to ensuring sensory testing drives product innovation, improvement and cost optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of sensory scientists and expert tasters.
• Design, execute and analyse sensory programmes to support new product development and existing product enhancements.
• Provide robust sensory insights to R&D, Marketing, Operations and Commercial teams.
• Champion best practice in sensory evaluation and statistical analysis.
• Build strong cross‑functional relationships across all KP Snacks sites.
• Identify and implement continuous improvements to the sensory capability.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading sensory or taste panels in a food or snack environment.
• Strong understanding of sensory science methodologies and statistical techniques.
• Ability to translate sensory data into actionable business recommendations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Passion for food, snack innovation and delivering consumer‑focused solutions.
