SEO Executive

About the role

We are looking for a proactive SEO Executive to join BrightHR’s growing performance marketing team in Manchester. You will work closely with the UK SEO Manager and the global SEO leadership to drive organic traffic and help meet non‑paid lead targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute SEO strategies across content, on‑page, off‑page and technical pillars.
• Perform keyword research, backlink analysis, on‑page audits and data analysis to uncover high‑value opportunities.
• Create and optimise landing pages, blog posts and other website content for search visibility and user engagement.
• Plan and run link‑building campaigns in partnership with the SEO Manager.
• Monitor performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console and other SEO tools, reporting on key metrics.
• Analyse competitors’ SEO tactics and recommend actions to stay ahead.
• Collaborate with the wider marketing team to launch new SEO‑focused campaigns.
• Stay current with algorithm updates, AI‑driven search trends and industry best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on SEO experience, preferably in an agency or client‑facing role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Solid understanding of core SEO concepts such as keyword clustering, search intent, on‑page optimisation and link tactics.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data‑driven decisions.
• Enthusiasm for continuous learning and adapting to new search technologies.
