SEP PIP Nurse – Hybrid (Leeds)

About the role

As a Nurse Functional Assessor you will apply your clinical expertise to evaluate how a person’s disability or health condition impacts daily living. Working on complex physical, mental health and chronic pain cases, you will help customers move forward with tailored support and guidance.

Key responsibilities

• Assess the effect of disabilities and health conditions on everyday activities.
• Manage complex cases involving both physical and mental health conditions.
• Produce detailed written reports for each assessment.
• Participate in a structured training programme and receive ongoing mentorship.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care.

Required profile

• Valid NMC registration number.
• Minimum 1 year post‑registration experience in adult or mental health nursing, within or outside the NHS.
• Legal right to work in the UK (no sponsorship offered).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Comfortable using computer software to type and produce detailed reports.

Required skills

• Proficiency in computer software for report generation.
