Service Advisor – Automotive Customer Service

About the role

We are looking for a Service Advisor to join a family‑run independent garage in Maidenhead. The role is based in a busy, customer‑focused workshop where you will be the first point of contact for vehicle owners and will help ensure a smooth service experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers professionally and answer telephone and email enquiries.
• Book and organise service appointments in line with workshop capacity.
• Maintain accurate customer records and service documentation.
• Liaise with technicians and the workshop team to coordinate work flow.
• Provide clear updates to customers throughout the service journey.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a customer‑facing role, preferably within the motor trade.
• Strong communication and organisational abilities.
• Professional and approachable demeanour.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Kerridge or similar dealership management systems.
