Service Advisor – Automotive Dealership

About the role

The Service Advisor will be the primary point of contact for customers bringing their vehicles in for maintenance and repair. You will work closely with technicians and the sales team to ensure a smooth, efficient service experience while maintaining confidentiality and meeting deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, understand their service needs and provide clear explanations of required work.
• Schedule service appointments and coordinate with workshop staff to optimise workflow.
• Handle confidential customer information and ensure data protection compliance.
• Process service orders, quotations and invoices accurately.
• Upsell additional services and parts where appropriate, contributing to revenue targets.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem‑solving.
• Work the standard hours of 8:00 am‑6:00 pm Monday‑Friday and occasional Saturday shifts (one Saturday in three).

Required profile

• Proven experience in a selling or customer‑service environment, preferably within the automotive sector.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive information.
• Demonstrated drive, commitment and enthusiasm for delivering excellent service.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a willingness to contribute to both team and customer success.
