Service Advisor – Bognor Regis

About the role

Silcom Recruitment is supporting a well‑established dealership group in Bognor Regis and is looking for an experienced, customer‑focused Service Advisor to join their growing after‑sales team. This is a busy, professional operation offering strong earning potential and a supportive management environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the service and repair journey.
• Manage customer bookings, vehicle check‑ins and hand‑overs.
• Liaise with the workshop team to ensure accurate communication and timely updates.
• Promote and sell after‑sales products and services, including service plans and workshop recommendations.
• Maximise labour sales and upsell opportunities through Vehicle Health Checks (VHCs).
• Maintain accurate customer records and job documentation.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor within the motor trade.
• Full UK driving licence.

Required skills

What we offer

• Basic salary of £30,900 per year.
• Bonus structure: 1% of all labour sales, £2 per VHC item sold, plus additional bonuses for service plan and qualifying after‑sales product sales.
• On‑target earnings of £40,000+.
• Working hours: Monday‑Friday 8:30 am–5:30 pm, every other Saturday 8:30 am–12:30 pm (time‑and‑a‑half overtime).
