Service Advisor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join our well‑established franchised motor dealership in Borehamwood. You will be the primary point of contact for customers bringing their vehicles in for service, maintenance or repair, ensuring a smooth and professional after‑sales experience.

Key responsibilities

• Book vehicles for servicing, maintenance and repair work.
• Provide clear, timely updates to customers on vehicle progress and required work.
• Liaise closely with technicians and the workshop team to coordinate jobs.
• Upsell additional work where appropriate while maintaining high customer service standards.
• Produce accurate job cards, invoices and service documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar after‑sales role.
• Experience in a main dealer environment is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to work in a busy, target‑driven environment.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
