Service Advisor – Premium Automotive Service

About the role

As a Service Advisor at Porsche Centre Reading, you will be the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring their vehicles receive the right service and repair the first time. You will combine technical automotive knowledge with strong communication skills to drive sales of value‑added services and build lasting relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional customer experience in line with the Porsche Service Process.
• Communicate technical information effectively to upsell services and meet departmental targets.
• Manage workshop repairs, provide regular updates to customers, and allocate work to Service Technicians.
• Handle Direct Dialogue interactions, service bookings, and accessory sales according to manufacturer guidelines.
• Confirm booking details, manage vehicle and key allocation on site, and prepare service invoices with technical explanations.
• Ensure compliance with RICS, Warranty Audit, FCA standards and complete required training and accreditations.

Required profile

• Full UK driver’s licence.
• Premium dealership experience with a solid understanding of automotive systems and repair processes.
• Ability to apply FCA principles of Treating Customers Fairly.
• Strong focus on customer satisfaction and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Automotive systems knowledge.

What we offer

• Basic salary of £32,590 per annum plus an annual bonus up to 35%.
• Fixed hours Monday‑Friday 8:00‑18:00 and occasional Saturdays.
