Service Advisor – Southampton

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Service Advisor to join a well‑established motor trade dealership in Southampton. In this customer‑focused position you will act as the primary liaison between clients and the workshop, ensuring a smooth and efficient service experience.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome customers and conduct thorough vehicle check‑ins, capturing all relevant data.
• Communicate service recommendations and status updates clearly to customers.
• Oversee the repair workflow, coordinating additional work as required.
• Prepare and maintain accurate job packets and associated documentation.
• Drive customer satisfaction and contribute to the overall success of the after‑sales operation.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor in the automotive industry (preferred).
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication abilities with both customers and workshop staff.
• Ability to work Monday‑Friday (8:00‑18:00) with occasional Saturday rota.
