Service Charge Analyst

About the role

We are partnering with a large, purpose‑driven organisation that needs a Service Charge Analyst to join its established Service Charge team. You will ensure that service charges across multiple property portfolios are accurate, transparent and compliant, while working closely with operational teams and visiting sites across the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Review and audit service charge schedules, identifying discrepancies and improvement opportunities.
• Visit properties nationwide to verify assets, service delivery and charging information.
• Collaborate with Asset Management, Housing and Property teams to maintain accurate data and enhance charging methodologies.
• Interpret lease agreements and tenancy documentation to ensure correct application of charges.
• Support the development of robust service charge models and drive continuous process improvements.
• Help deliver transparent, accurate and legally compliant service charges to customers.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with a natural curiosity for investigating issues.
• Attention to detail and the ability to challenge assumptions to get to the root of problems.
• Experience in service charges, housing, property finance, asset management or a data‑focused analytical role.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally.

Required skills

• Intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency.
• Confidence using finance or housing management systems.
