Service Controller – Plant & Machinery

About the role
The Service Controller will oversee the maintenance, breakdown response and service administration of our equipment fleet, which includes powered access, construction and mechanical machinery. You will act as the central point of contact, ensuring equipment is available, safe and serviced efficiently.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate routine maintenance and urgent breakdown repairs for all plant and machinery assets.
- Manage service schedules, documentation and compliance for powered access and construction equipment.
- Maintain accurate records in the hire system and liaise with suppliers and internal teams.
- Prioritise multiple service requests in a fast‑paced environment.
Required profile
- Previous experience as a Service Controller or similar coordination role.
- Strong organisational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the capacity to juggle several priorities.
- Ability to commute to Enfield.
Required skills
- Syrinx (or comparable hire management system).
