Service Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking an organised, customer‑focused Service Coordinator to join our busy Service Team in Banbury. Reporting to the Service Manager, you will support the day‑to‑day operations of the Service Department, ensuring engineers are scheduled efficiently and customers receive a high level of service.

Key responsibilities

• Process quotations, purchase orders and order entries accurately.
• Coordinate Service Engineer schedules, allocating based on location, availability and skill set.
• Arrange travel and accommodation for UK and international service visits, including flights, hotels and vehicle hire.
• Maintain accurate service records and filing systems.
• Support the preparation and issuance of quotations for service visits, training sessions and contracts.
• Handle customer enquiries via telephone and email, escalating issues when necessary.
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments to ensure timely responses.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance customer service delivery.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Previous experience in customer service, service coordination or an administrative role.
• Experience in a manufacturing, engineering or service‑based environment is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational ability with capacity to manage multiple priorities.
