Service Desk Apprentice

About the role

This apprenticeship offers a hands‑on introduction to a service desk within a leading facilities‑management organisation. You will develop technical and customer‑facing skills while supporting the company's growth and digital processes.

Key responsibilities

• Use the Concept job‑booking system to log jobs, raise purchase orders and become a super‑user.
• Provide digital support to Accounts Payable using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, resolving supplier invoice queries.
• Act as the first point of contact for customers and stakeholders, handling enquiries in person, by email and phone.
• Manage Microsoft Office packages, Teams and shared drives to access internal documents and applications.
• Support the project team with estimating, tender processes and delivery of maintenance projects.
• Proactively reduce work‑in‑progress levels and chase supplier invoices to ensure timely payment.

Required profile

• Basic PC literacy (training will be provided).
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills.

• Salary of £18,000 per annum.
• 37.5‑hour work week, Monday‑Friday 8:00‑16:30.
