Service Desk Engineer

About the role

Our client in Bracknell is looking for a Service Desk Engineer to join their office‑based team. The role is ideal for candidates with strong problem‑solving abilities, a customer‑focused mindset, and a keen interest in technology. Full training will be provided, making it suitable for both experienced engineers and those starting their technical career.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line technical support and fault diagnosis.
• Log, prioritise and manage incidents and service requests.
• Escalate complex issues to specialist teams when required.
• Coordinate engineers and resources to ensure timely resolution.
• Keep customers and internal stakeholders updated on progress.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Good understanding of Windows operating systems.
