Service Engineer – CNC & Machine Tools (North)

About the role
We are seeking a Service Engineer with experience in CNC and machine‑tool equipment to join a market‑leading OEM. You will be based at home in the Liverpool area and travel across the North West to deliver planned and reactive maintenance for specialist tooling machinery.
Key responsibilities
- Perform planned and reactive maintenance on CNC and tooling machines.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults.
- Carry out breakdown repairs and commissioning of new equipment.
- Provide on‑site support across a regional patch, ensuring minimal downtime.
Required profile
- Previous experience as a Service Engineer or similar role working with CNC or tooling machinery.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
- Ability to work independently and follow safety procedures.
Required skills
- CNC machinery operation and maintenance.
- Machine‑tool servicing.
- Mechanical fault diagnosis.
- Electrical fault diagnosis.
- Servicing and commissioning of equipment.
