Service Engineer – CNC & Machine Tools (South West)

About the role

We are seeking a Service Engineer with experience in CNC and machine‑tool equipment to join a market‑leading OEM. You will be based at home and travel across a South West regional patch, providing both planned and reactive maintenance for specialist tooling machinery.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance on CNC and tooling machines.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults.
• Carry out breakdown repairs and commissioning of new equipment.
• Travel to customer sites across Bristol, Bath, Exeter, Devon, Dorset and surrounding areas.
• Maintain accurate service records and report on job completion.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Service Engineer or in a similar role servicing CNC or machine‑tool equipment.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
• Ability to work independently and manage a regional workload.
