Service Engineer – Electrical & Mechanical – Peterborough

About the role

We are looking for a Service Engineer with a strong electrical and mechanical background to join a close‑knit engineering team in Peterborough. The role is split between workshop repairs and on‑site visits, offering a varied day‑to‑day experience, ongoing training and long‑term job security.

Key responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair specialist engineering equipment.
• Perform workshop‑based repairs and travel to customer sites for field service.
• Carry out electrical and mechanical fault finding, diagnostics and repairs.
• Install, commission and test equipment as required.
• Deliver excellent customer service and build strong client relationships.

Required profile

• Experience in electrical and/or mechanical engineering.
• Background in field service, maintenance, manufacturing, FMCG or workshop engineering.
• Proven ability to fault‑find on electrical and mechanical systems.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Able to commute to Peterborough.
