Service Engineer – LOLER Inspections

About the role

Join a market‑leading medical manufacturer as a Service Engineer focused on LOLER inspections and testing. You will work autonomously across a regional patch in East Anglia, servicing patient hoists, beds and other medical mobility equipment for care homes and healthcare clients. The role offers a competitive salary, overtime, on‑call pay and a clear progression pathway.

Key responsibilities

• Service, maintain and install medical equipment such as patient hoists, beds and pressure devices.
• Carry out LOLER inspections and related electrical/mechanical testing.
• Cover a regional patch with door‑to‑door travel, receiving travel pay for mileage.
• Participate in a 1.5× overtime and on‑call rota, working a standard 40‑hour week.

Required profile

• Experience as a Service Engineer or similar, preferably within the medical industry.
• Background in LOLER inspections and testing.
• Full UK driver’s licence and willingness to cover a regional patch.
