Service Manager – Agricultural Operations (Essex)

About the role

We are partnering with a well‑established agricultural business in Essex to recruit a Service Manager. This is a full‑time, long‑term position leading a busy service team, with a strong benefits package and relocation support for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the service function within an agricultural setting.
• Lead, support and coordinate a team of operational staff, allocating workloads to maximise efficiency.
• Handle customer enquiries, maintain positive relationships and ensure service standards are met.
• Monitor performance metrics, prepare reports and ensure compliance with agreed procedures.
• Manage internal staffing matters and maintain accurate departmental records.

Required profile

• Previous supervisory or management experience, preferably in a service or operational environment.
• Strong organisational and communication abilities.
• Proven capability to manage people and workloads effectively.
• Professional approach to customer interactions.
• Ability to stay calm and structured under pressure.
