Service Manager – Supported Living for Learning Disabilities

About the role

The Service Manager will lead a supported living service for adults with learning disabilities and complex physical needs. You will ensure high‑quality, person‑centred care that enhances the lives of service users while supporting a dedicated care team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop the care team to deliver consistent, high‑quality support.
• Develop, implement and audit systems and processes to meet regulatory standards.
• Maintain up‑to‑date care documentation and ensure it reflects individual needs.
• Handle safeguarding issues promptly and appropriately.
• Oversee re‑assessment of care needs and update contracts as required.
• Collaborate with senior management to grow and improve the service.
• Deputise for the Complex Care Manager when absent.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Deputy Manager, Supported Living Manager or Service Manager in a regulated care setting.
• Passion for delivering person‑centred services to people with learning and physical disabilities.
• Willingness to work towards a QCF Level 5 qualification in Leadership of Social Care (if not already held).
• Good knowledge of CQC standards and relevant social‑care legislation.
