Service Operations Officer

About the role

The Service Operations Officer will support Rolls‑Royce's aftermarket MRO network for Large Trent engines. Based at the Derby MRO base, the role bridges internal value‑stream teams and external suppliers to keep engine and module flow on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and enable the near‑term operational plan for the assigned MRO base.
• Collaborate with Parts Supply, Engineering (TV delivery), Repair and Spares Support teams to coordinate parts planning and release.
• Ensure engines and modules adhere to the required streamer to maximise MRO output volume.
• Support the Off‑Wing team in setting and executing the Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul plan for Large Trent engines across the global network.
• Provide supplier‑facing coordination, planning, control and performance monitoring.

Required profile

• Strong collaboration and influencing abilities.
• Experience in business improvement or project management.
• Understanding of civil large‑engine architecture and configuration.
• Operational, planning & control or technical background is advantageous.
• Supplier‑facing experience and excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of MRO, component repair or supply‑chain activities is beneficial.
