Service Planning Coordinator

About the role

We are recruiting a Service Planning Coordinator for an established business in Cirencester. The role involves planning and scheduling the workload of a team of Customer Service Engineers across the UK, ensuring customers receive an efficient and well‑organised service.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and schedule engineer workloads, including planned maintenance and service visits.
• Coordinate appointments with customers and confirm upcoming work.
• Manage engineer availability, balancing resources against customer requirements.
• Maintain accurate job, customer and engineer information in the planning system.
• Coordinate subcontract labour and schedule site visits, ensuring permits and security vetting are in place.
• Arrange parts and equipment availability ahead of scheduled work.
• Handle engineer holiday requests while meeting operational needs.
• Respond to customer enquiries by telephone and email.

Required profile

• Highly organised and confident, able to juggle changing priorities.
• Previous experience in service coordination, scheduling, planning or engineering support.
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with customers, engineers and internal teams.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment.
