Service Supervisor – Customer & Field Operations

About the role

We are seeking a Service Supervisor who will act as the central hub between customers, Field Service Engineers, the Parts Department and Depot Management. The role is fast‑paced, varied and focused on delivering high‑quality service for plant, vehicle and manufacturing equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Answer customer calls and schedule service appointments.
• Allocate work to Field Service Engineers based on priority, location and skill set.
• Ensure engineers have the correct parts, information and resources to complete repairs.
• Monitor job progress and keep customers informed throughout the service lifecycle.
• Manage engineer holiday requests and act as the first point of contact for absences.
• Review job write‑ups, verify paperwork accuracy and process jobs through to invoicing.
• Resolve any invoice queries that arise.

Required profile

• Proven experience in customer service, service coordination, service control or an after‑sales environment.
• Strong organisational and planning abilities, with the capacity to juggle multiple priorities.
• Confident communicator with customers, engineers and internal teams.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and maintain a focus on delivering excellent customer experience.
