Service Support Administrator

About the role
We are seeking a Service Support Administrator to coordinate engineers, manage reactive callouts and oversee preventative maintenance programmes for commercial kitchens and bar fit‑outs across the UK. Based in Stevenage, you will act as the central link between customers and field engineers, ensuring smooth and efficient kitchen operations.
Key responsibilities
- Support and engage with the field engineering team to deliver high‑level customer service.
- Liaise with engineers and clients to ensure scheduled works are completed on time.
- Coordinate reactive service callouts and planned preventative maintenance visits.
- Maintain accurate job cards, process purchase orders and monitor stock levels.
- Handle supplier queries and keep service records up‑to‑date.
- Manage service‑related communications via telephone, email and messaging platforms.
Required profile
- Positive, proactive approach to problem‑solving.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- At least one year experience in customer service, administration, scheduling or coordination.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency with internal job‑card and inventory management systems.
- Experience processing purchase orders.
- Competence in using email, telephone and messaging platforms for service communication.
What we offer
- Competitive salary £28,000‑£34,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
- Full‑time role, Monday‑Friday 8:30 am‑5:00 pm.
- Friendly office environment close to Stevenage train station.
