Service Technician – Commercial Cleaning Equipment

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Service Technician to maintain, repair, install and demonstrate commercial cleaning equipment for a fast‑growing engineering company. The role covers a Southern England patch, involves door‑to‑door visits and occasional overnight stays, and offers a clear progression path to Senior Technician.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, repair and service electromechanical cleaning machinery across the assigned region.
• Install new equipment and provide on‑site demonstrations to customers.
• Travel door‑to‑door in a company van, with occasional overnight stays.
• Record service activities and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a service technician in the commercial cleaning sector.
• Ability to work independently and manage a geographic patch.
• Willingness to undertake specialist training and progress to senior roles.

Required skills

• Electromechanical cleaning equipment maintenance.
• Mechanical repair and troubleshooting.
• Electrical systems knowledge.
• Installation and customer demonstration.
