Service Technician

About the role

We are partnering with a leading engineering and climate‑solutions organisation to recruit a Service Technician for the Hampshire region. This full‑time, field‑based position involves delivering high‑quality HVAC and climate‑control services to commercial and industrial customers.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on a variety of HVAC and climate‑control equipment at customer sites.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults, restoring equipment to full operational performance.
• Respond to breakdowns, warranty calls, commissioning projects and equipment‑hire installations.
• Maintain accurate service reports, maintenance records and work‑order documentation.
• Collaborate with service desk, operations and sales teams to ensure seamless customer experience.
• Participate in an on‑call rota covering evenings, weekends and bank holidays as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Service Technician, Field Service Engineer or similar role within HVAC, refrigeration or climate‑control.
• Ability to work independently in the field and build strong customer relationships.
• Willingness to work a flexible rota that includes evenings and weekends.
• Commitment to health and safety procedures and engineering standards.
