About the role
Join Aldridge Adult Learning as a Sessional Tutor delivering ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) classes to adult learners in Brighton. This part‑time, fixed‑term position offers the chance to make a real impact on learners’ confidence and employability.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging ESOL lessons covering speaking, listening, reading and writing.
- Create an inclusive, supportive classroom environment for learners of diverse backgrounds.
- Assess learner progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
- Promote Aldridge’s educational approach, known as The AAL Way.
Required profile
- Passion for teaching English to adult learners.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and respectful learning atmosphere.
- Ability to work flexibly according to course enrolment numbers.
