Sewer CCTV Operator – Full Time – Birmingham, AL

About the role

Atakapa Services, LLC (A Waggoner Company) is seeking a full‑time Sewer CCTV Operator to operate a CCTV van and lead a crew on municipal construction projects in Birmingham, AL. The position focuses on inspecting, cleaning and rehabilitating underground wastewater and storm‑drain infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Operate CCTV equipment on a variety of job sites efficiently.
• Apply knowledge of the sewer inspection industry (SSES) and municipal construction.
• Utilize a Class B CDL to transport and operate the CCTV van.
• Lead and organize crew activities to ensure effective site operations.
• Maintain basic computer systems for reporting and data entry.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• At least one year of experience in sewer CCTV, plumbing or municipal construction.
• Valid driver’s license with CDL C qualification.
• Ability to pass drug test, background check and motor‑vehicle record check.
