Shift Leader - Afternoon Shift

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Shift Leader to oversee our afternoon production shift at The Bread Factory. You will guide a team of bakers, ensure high‑quality output, and maintain a safe, efficient work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the production team during the afternoon shift, delegating tasks to meet production targets.
• Coach and develop less‑experienced staff, fostering skill growth and teamwork.
• Maintain safety, hygiene, and quality standards while operating bakery equipment.
• Act as the department manager’s backup, ensuring smooth operations when required.
• Report and resolve equipment issues promptly and monitor stock levels.

Required profile

• Passion for baking and high‑quality products.
• Quick learner with strong coaching abilities.
• Calm under pressure with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Previous experience leading a team, preferably in food manufacturing.
