Shift Manager – Hospitality & Food Service

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Shift Manager to lead our Notting Hill/Portobello Road restaurant. You will work closely with the General and Assistant Manager to ensure smooth operations, high standards, and a welcoming atmosphere for both customers and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily shifts, ensuring adequate staffing and efficient workflow.
• Oversee Food Safety and Health & Safety compliance.
• Support training, coaching and development of the floor team.
• Assist with compliance reporting and documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement in service quality and restaurant performance.

Required profile

• Eager, hardworking and ready to support senior management.
• Strong ability to act as a bridge between the floor team and management.
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive culture.
• Interest in career progression within hospitality.
