About the role

Join the Operations and Maintenance team at Lancashire Renewables Ltd. on a 5‑shift roster at our Leyland facility. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of bio‑drying and odour control systems, providing hands‑on technical support and collaborating with supervisors to maintain high‑performance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operation of bio‑drying and odour abatement equipment.
• Deliver technical expertise and troubleshooting for mechanical issues.
• Partner with supervisors to implement effective maintenance programmes.
• Prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and ensure compliance with safety procedures.

Required profile

• Strong mechanical aptitude and practical problem‑solving ability.
• Effective communicator and team player.
• Safety‑focused, organised and detail‑oriented.
• Proactive, adaptable and eager to learn.

Required skills

• Mechanical skills.
• NPORS certification for mobile plant (e.g., Front‑End Loader, Forklift Truck, Tele‑truck).
• Knowledge of bio‑drying and waste processing systems.
• Familiarity with odour abatement systems.
