About the role
We are seeking a motivated Shift Technician to join our fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) production site in Cumbria. The role operates on a 4‑on‑4‑off shift pattern and offers a competitive salary of up to £50,000 per year.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of production equipment and facilities.
- Work closely with the engineering team to address breakdowns promptly.
- Support the achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs) for the line.
- Act as deputy for the Production Manager when required.
Required profile
- Proven experience within the FMCG sector (essential).
- Background in production, preferably in a team‑leader capacity (advantageous).
- Some engineering knowledge or aptitude (advantageous).
